S7 March 19, 2011 CLEVELAND -- From 26 at the start of the week, there are only six teams left from the Other 25 conferences. S7 March 18, 2011 CLEVELAND -- Good morning. As usual at the NCAA Tournament, I am surrounded by people typing. I also get to hear them talk with each other about what they're going to write...

S7 February 28, 2011 BOSTON -- There was never any master plan to any of it. S7 February 24, 2011 CLEVELAND -- Once upon a time, there was this really thick book, and it had a bunch of stuff about college basketball in it. S7 February 23, 2011 CHICAGO -- Every single one of the conference games going on tonight, and tomorrow, and Friday and Saturday too, were scheduled months in advance by a league office (or, in some cases, years ago). S7 February 22, 2011 CHICAGO -- BracketBusters 2011 can be summed up tidily in one paragraph. Utah State came back from 10 down at Saint Mary's to earn a résumé win. S7 February 17, 2011 INDIANAPOLIS -- Things were different eight years ago. Folks were afraid of SARS. Valerie Plame was still anonymous. People still had AOL e-mail addresses. S7 January 3, 2011 CHICAGO -- Coaches talk a lot about taking things away from an opponent; indeed, one of the objects of basketball is exert enough force and will as to displace identity. S5 March 21, 2009 MINNEAPOLIS -- Just so we're clear, we don't care about your brackets. S5 February 9, 2009 Sure, we have our favorites. S5 January 30, 2009 INDIANAPOLIS -- Every once in a while, I receive a hit through the feedback form, written in a language I don't understand.
