This site started as his story, became about all of us and each of us but now has become about our teamwork.

Here are some of the things we have learned (thanks to the authors and photographers):

Come the First of November, everyone is eligible for a title

It's okay to be different.

Remember the whole is greater the sum of its parts.

Attending is better than observing.

Don't go to games alone; sometimes an outside perspective can improve the game experience.

One game or early season upset rarely does a season or a program make.

Emotional investments pay off.

Scheduling is not always easy for those below the Red Line.

Honor and respect those sacred places, regardless of their appearance.

Teams that overcome both economic & size barriers to win, earn Julien Sorel levels of respect.

Care about the chapter, not the verse.

Be a creative eater (e.g. the guaco and the Hot Box Diet).

Bands set the mood better than canned music.

Anyone can be a cheerleader, whether you sit on the bench or in the stands.

Come tournament time, enjoy, don't predict the ride. It's easier on the heart.

Be Thankful for the experience of seeing each game.

Most important of all, remember the season ends in a loss.
