Facing the end of their season at three different junctures, the Explorers received the biggest of shots from two seniors to advance to the Atlantic 10 Quarterfinals with a 75-73 double-overtime victory at St. Bonaventure on Tuesday night. Senior Ruben Guillandeaux tied the game at the end of regulation and overtime and classmate Steve Weingarten gave La Salle the lead with a three-pointer with 32 seconds left in double-overtime. Men's Basketball Knocks Off George Washington, 71-59, in Overtime; Advances to Atlantic 10 Quarterfinals - The Saint Joseph's men's basketball team scored the first 12 points of overtime on Tuesday night as the 12th-seeded Hawks upset fifth-seeded George Washington, 71-59, in an overtime thriller at the Smith Center in the first round of the 2011 Atlantic 10 Championship. Freshman Langston Galloway led the way with 15 points, including 6-of-6 from the free throw line in the extra frame. Saint Joseph's (10-21) only attempted two field goals in overtime, but shot 18-of-20 from the charity stripe to salt away the win. C.J. Aiken was also 6-for-6 from the line in overtime on his way to 11 points to go with his five blocks. Luke Fabrizius came off the bench to lead the scoring with 13 points. Chris Wright tallied 10 points and seven rebounds as Dayton snapped a three-game losing streak.
