Bally's Dream: The Book
March 9, 2010 8:43 am ET by Kyle Whelliston
All season, you've heard me blabbering about a "Bally kids' book," and you've been skeptical. What is this Bally kids' book? Well, it's Bally's Dream, and it's about the Tournament and mid-majors and underdogs and stuff! It's based on a cartoon from last year. Contest winner (and Bally No. 28 owner) Beth Ann Cosgrave wrote the words, yours truly (Bally No. 1 owner) drew the people and basketballs, Philadelphia graphic artist Mo Moussa is responsible for building the dreamworld, and longtime TMM design collaborator Roni Lagin art directed the whole thing.

We've all worked very hard on this book all winter and really hope you like it. You can order a paper copy, too! It's $15 postpaid for paperback, and $25 for casewrap hardcover. We're trying very hard to get all of the books out this week, but there have been more orders than we expected. That's good, though! Ten percent of the proceeds go to charity, so the more sales the better.

Also, everybody who buys the book before the Tournament will be entered into a drawing for the 99th Bally. The 100th Bally is already spoken for -- it's Giant -- and that leaves only two one more, ever! No. 98 is available, and so is No. 54 (cancelled order). Get 'em before they're gone forever! All sold out, sorry!
