Allen, who went over the 1,000 career points mark, had a game-high and season-high 23 points, 15 in the second half, as NU shot 50 percent after halftime. Manny Adako added 22 points. Racers Take Down SEMO 80-68 To Clinch OVC Crown - The Murray State Racers earned the right to be called Ohio Valley Conference champions when they clinched the program's 21st regular season title with an 80-68 win over Southeast Missouri State in Murray, Ky. MSU jumped to a 9-2 lead less than four minutes into the contest and led 20-7 after an Ed Daniel rebound and score with 10:28 before half. Isaiah Canaan turned in one of the shots of the year in college basketball when he drilled a three-pointer from his knees with 4:41 left. His feat came after he gathered a loose ball near mid-court and launched a shot from his knees just before the shot clock buzzer sounded. (via Murray State)

Rhody, Saint Louis Meet on Wednesday Night - On Wednesday night, Rhode Island looks to capture its first-ever victory at Saint Louis in a pivotal Atlantic 14 matchup at the Chaifetz Arena. The Rams (19-5; 7-4 A-14) are coming off consecutive losses for the first time this season, dropping a 78-56 decision at #21 Temple on Feb. 13. Akeem Richmond and Delroy James led URI with 11 points, while Keith Cothran had 10. It was the lowest point total of the season for Rhody, who ranks second in the A-10 and 37th nationally in scoring (77.4 ppg). Saint Louis (16-8; 7-3 A-14) have won four straight in A-10 play coming into Wednesday night's contest. Last time out on Feb. 13, SLU downed Dayton, 68-65, in double overtime. Kwamain Mitchell banked in a 3-pointer with 1.3 seconds remaining in regulation, helping the Billikens rallied from a 15-point deficit against Dayton.
