Men's Basketball Outlasts Ohio in Double Overtime - Chris McKnight and Jimmy Conyers each posted a double-double to help lift the University of Akron men's basketball team to a 91-88 double-overtime victory over Ohio on Sunday at Rhodes Arena in Mid-American Conference action. McKnight finished with career-highs in points (25) and rebounds (18) - 11 of his points and seven of his boards came in nine minutes of play in the first half. He connecting on 11-of-17 attempts from the foul line and went 7-for-12 from the field to tally his second double-double of the season and career. (via Akron)

The Eastern Washington University men's basketball team made 12-of-19 three-point shots as it won its second-straight game with a 69-68 victory over red-hot Montana Sunday (Feb. 14) at Reese Court in Cheney, Wash. Bears Pass the Bucs on the Road, 82-77 - The Johnson City jinx is over for Mercer University's men's basketball team. For the first time in school history, the Bears won a game at East Tennessee State University in six visits, 82-77, and in the process knocked off one of the Atlantic Sun Conference's co-leaders. The win evened MU's overall record at 13-13 and improved the team to 9-7 in the A-Sun. (via Mercer)

Led by 40 points from starting guards Toure Murry, Hannah and Graham Hatch, who had the only double-digit games for the Shockers with 15, 15 and 10, respectively, WSU improved to 21-6 overall and 10-5 in the Missouri Valley Conference.(via Wichita State)
