Utah State improves to 19-6 overall and 9-2 in WAC play with the win, while Boise State falls to 11-3 on the season and 2-9 in league play with the loss. Sims scored 19 of his game-high 25 points after the intermission as the Mountaineers out-shot the Wildcats 47.9 percent to 32.8.
