Bally Does The Upper Midwest

As you've probably gathered, we were in MAC and Horizon League country last week. There was a lot of snow, but Bally lives in my bookbag on the road and is generally unaffected by weather. It's warm in there.

Bally's Midwestern adventure began at Valparaiso last Tuesday, where he got to meet the student section leaders.

They gave him his very own "Rowdy Rag."

Then it was off to Western Michigan for some MAC love.

Thursday meant Cleveland State home of the resurgent Vikings. CSU's old logo was actually a distant cousin of Bally's.

Bally isn't in this one, but he's a huge Jim Rome fan and wanted me to include this. This was found in the Wolstein Center tunnels.

After a day off Friday, we visited Loyola of Chicago over the weekend.

Bally wanted to join the Rambler Rowdies (as featured on ESPN.com!), but everybody left after the game, so he couldn't get an application form.

To wrap up our Midwestern adventure, we went to Bowling Green on Sunday to see the Falcons beat Toledo in a big local rivalry. You can see that he looks a little bit tipped-over tired in this one... he could use a vacation. That's why we're off to Florida!
