Bally: Way Out West

|

Bally really enjoyed his visit to the Lawlor Center, home of the Nevada Wolf Pack. Nearly every seat is a season ticket, and when the home team isn't around, it hosts events like big-time wrestling and the Bull-Nanza. Bally really wanted to go to the Bull-Nanza.

Instead, Bally went out to the casinos after the game Saturday. I didn't go, had a story to work on. He finally showed up Sunday afternoon... drunk, walking funny, his allowance blown on penny slots.

Once he sobered up, we went to Saint Mary's to watch the Gaels play on Monday night. Bally was later forcibly removed from the McKeon Pavilion for offhandedly mentioning that easy-listening songstress Enya is, in fact, a Gael.

But after our big annual west coast swing, our orange buddy was glad to get back home to his familiar surroundings. Sleep tight, Bally, we've got Texas next week.

What We Do
Having recently completed its fourth season, The Mid-Majority is a blog about the 22 smaller Division I college basketball conferences (and independents) by me, Kyle Whelliston. I write for ESPN.com and Basketball Times, and maintain the Basketball State statistics website as well.

Here's a brief note on who we talk about, and why.

If you need to contact me for any reason, you can do so with this form. If you're looking for the stats, maps or budget data, it's all over here now.
