    Good Night

Oh, the basketball landscape is changing everyday, in every possible way. Though my dreams, it's never quite as it seems, and all these teams fade into the ether, perhaps haunted by the ear-splitting vocal histrionics of Dolores O'Riordan as they disappear. Good night, Southern Utah and Valparaiso and Boston University and UMBC and Loyola and Quinnipiac. Sweet dreams to Nicholls State, Texas-San Antonio, Texas State and Central Arkansas, who didn't qualify for the Southland tourney. Good night to American and Army, to San Diego and to both Mount Saint Mary's and Saint Mary's. You've all been dreams to me, dreams to me.

  • What We Do
Having recently completed its fourth season, The Mid-Majority is a blog about the 22 smaller Division I college basketball conferences (and independents) by me, Kyle Whelliston. I write for ESPN.com and Basketball Times, and maintain the Basketball State statistics website as well.

Here's a brief note on who we talk about, and why.

If you need to contact me for any reason, you can do so with this form. If you're looking for the stats, maps or budget data, it's all over here now.
